experiencing kol-katha09 Animation film festival

It was a great selection of animated short films for our viewing which shows that young animation filmmaker n student are throbbing with energy. I could see a lot of good work apart from the mold of NID, IDC and FTII giants.
Works from some private animation academies was eye grabbing though they still stick to very commercial clear cut 2D and 3D style.
I wished that the festival had some more relaxed scheduling so that young and experienced one could interact and talk. There was such a rush to screen 40-50 films in a stretch that I felt breathless. Anyway, since it was their 1st edition I hope in future it will get better.
