I think most of kids of my generation grew up reading comics and Amar Chitra Katha was the one which all parents used to buy and give to kids with pleasure. Other comics like Indrajaal, Manoj and Raj were rented out and read happily.
Amar Chitra Katha has such an impact on my mind that whenever we used to hear mythological stories visuals from Amar Chitra Katha used to come. So it is true that Amar Chitra Katha has shaped the visual language for our generation.
