Every now or then I browse through the web games. Currently, I have been drawn to puzzle and logic games. I avoid playing games where there are too many key instructions and furious clicking. Here is a list of my picks, there is no particular sequence. Splitter Snail Bob Cover Orange Ninja Painter Cube Droid These are not new games but I happen to discover them recently. Snail Bob has pretty charming graphics. others also have appropriate visual appeal. why I am writing a post? It is because I enjoyed these games quite a lot and so it's kind of shortlisted bookmark. It usually happens when you want to play something for 10-20 minutes, then if you search for a quality time pass game form a huge heap of games.it is frustrating to choose from thousands shiny thumbnails (when the game is loaded you realize the game is a trash). that's the reason for the post. This is one of the many visual design projects for online games done at emantras media labs, Gurgaon. ( http://mlab.emantras.com ) Working for game design is not very distant from animation film making. It also has characters, background, layout, story and motion. Only thing is it doesn’t follow a very restricted liner sequence and sometimes might defy certain cinematic fundamentals.

Using Micosoft Power point for creating graphics. If one has an imagination and a bit of creativity than one can use Microsoft POWER POINT 2007 for creating really cool graphics or icons. it's default effects are very easy to apply and you don't need to be an expert on graphics. these glossy effect are hard to create in otherwise Graphics creating software. here are some icons I made using PPT default shapes and applied effects. If you are willing to explore Power Point further than you can customize most of the shape and effects. here is one symbol I designed using PPT. I wanted this web.2 glossy feel in here. it was very easy to find this look in PPT. If I had to do the same thing in Flash, photoshop or some other software I could have had hard times. So, go explore and try your hand at MS Power point.

leaf hopper is a puzzle game based on randomization of array. . you do not have defined level as one usually sees in other games like level 1 -2 -3 -4 etc. A little tough! but it is very addictive. the link for this game will come soon.. it is just the matter of 1 or 2 days. till then its a wait I know how it feels. for the time being you can play the game on this temporary linkand watch the video embeded here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/477779

It has got a good amount of graphic resources. Though, there are a few drawbacks which can get users frustrating that your created work or piece is restricted only on wix server. If you need to put is on your personal page than you don't have the .swf file So you have no choice but to use their embedded code. you can not upload your own video or flash work.It only allows pics n sound files Anyway, it's a great start of good product.
