Intel® Core™ i3, i5, i7 Sponsors of Tomorrow
on 19th of this month 'Times of India' carried an advertisement from Intel. launching Intel® Core™ i3, i5, i7 processors. I was really curious to know more about it. I asked my roommate who is a computer engineer, But he didn't know much about it. then I looked it up on the internet.
According to wikipedia :
"Intel Core i7 is Intel's brand name for several families of desktop and laptop 64-bit x86-64 processors using the Intel Nehalem microarchitecture. It is a successor to the Intel Core 2 brand. The Core i7 identifier applies to the initial family of processors codenamed Bloomfield introduced in 2008 and the 2009 Lynnfield and Clarksfield models. All current models are quad-core based processors."
so it's launching in India is a year delayed.
