Recently nike used some clever TVC using action packed stylised 2D animation. these ads really hit the target. in such a short duration only animation can convey so much. In my earlier version of post there were links to those videos, now they have taken down them from YouTube. the series was called  HYPERVENOM and the agency was BUCK. It is a tough life for a just graduated commercial artist or designer. there are many things(tips and tricks) teachers and seniors told don't seem to work while looking for a break(job). where to host your online portfolio and where to put your resume/CV. ????? it is sure a genuine question, specially for aspirant of creative field. Most of the job sites are generic and cater to H R, marketing and other well established disciplines and try to fit your CV there is frustrating. even if put your resume on regular job site then you are bombard with irrelevant job list in your inbox. Recently, I came across a blog about Character Design which showcases interviews and galleries from the top artists in Animation, Movies, Games, Illustration and comics. It is great that people are writing on blogs on such relevant topics and that to be without a commercial benifit. usually, such insightful article and interviews are truned into books and sold at a price which ristrict the knowledge to a perticular group. keepup the good work! My office colleague Sharad is a great web explorer he always discovers amazing websites about animation and arts. I think he has the exposure to the very best creative works online. Last time he showed me a site about 3D animations done for HIV awareness. Actually Warner Brothers have funded this initiative in association with http://hivfreegeneration.org/ I think, its really great that new technologies and communication strategies are applied to make people aware about HIV. Animation is an impact full medium to reach out the youth without being preachy about the issue.
