wide screen vs TV screen: pan and scan is a technique to fit wide screen film in to TV screen. it is to debated if it is right to screen films on TV which are meant for cinema hall wide screen. check this video which explains what gets lost when they put wide screen film on TV screen. here is a nice video which Chronicles 100 years of visual effects in cinema. a good edit:

a trip to kerala was long due for me and finally I made it in this October second week. kerala is completely a green state. I observed it has only 2 colours which is deep green of tree leaves and gray of tree bark.

last weekend I was at my hometown chandausi. in the month of August and September there is a mela which is held during this period in worship of lord Ganesh ji. I visited the mela with my friend Anni. He took a camera with him so we kind of made a visual documentation of a small town mela. what is exciting that this is a night mela so the lighting and brightness mela colours is really joyous. I will be soon giving the url of the entire lot of pics here. for the time being you can see the video which I uploaded on youtube of the "Maut Ka Kuan" stunt show.
